Fish Bonz is an exciting casual seafood grill opened in 2010. Conveniently located in Torrance at 2599 Airport Drive in the Rolling Hills Plaza next to the AMC Theaters. Whether it's a quick bite to eat or a meal, friends and family can enjoy fresh fish daily that is affordable, healthy, nutritious, and delicious.
Our Passion/Our Story
To appreciate the story of Fish Bonz, you'll want to know more behind my story. As the owner of Fish Bonz Grill, my love for fish grew at an early age. I'm a native Southern Californian, third-generation Japanese American who grew up in the South Bay Area and graduated from Gardena High in 1977. My father taught me at a early age, the techniques of catching, filleting, and fish preparation. Growing up on the local fishing boats, taking long-range trips out of San Diego and fishing throughout Mexico gave me a passion for fishing that has grown throughout my life, giving me the knowledge of all types of fish and their characteristics to prepare them. My other business venture is the clothing industry as a sales manager for one of the biggest manufacturers of suits on the west coast. I not only manage a sales force, help in design, fabric selection, and selling of all products. My career has enabled traveling the world, meeting fascinating people of all nationalities, and seeing the world through different eyes. With this experience and my vast knowledge of fish, my dream was to open an affordable seafood restaurant without compromising taste or quality. Over the years, I've learned that the best tasting and healthiest way to prepare fish is to grill it fresh, which enhances its natural flavors. I got my friends together, told them the plan, and put my fish to the ultimate test. My friends took one bite and said, "Wow! I didn't know fish could taste this good." They all loved it! The responses were "awesome, delicious, and OMG…" to name a few. I replied, "It's all about the taste! No bones about it." Fish Bones was soon after that born, or as I like to spell it, with an added twist, Fish Bonz. I knew I had to put this dream into action. Through trial and error, and with the help of friends, the combination of the "grilled catch of the day" and my "secret garlic lemon butter sauce," I was able to bring my dream to life. I'm thrilled to share my passion for fresh and healthy fish with you. Fish Bonz is committed to helping people improve their health and wellness by providing the absolute best quality food that doesn't compromise flavor or value.
Our Menu
Fish Bonz offers a range of creative, fresh dishes with many varieties of grilled fish and seafood, lobster, appetizers, a great selection of tacos and sandwiches, and all the traditional fried seafood: including fish & chips, nutritious bowls, freshly tossed salads. We also offer many great side choices such as sweet potato fries, grilled zucchini, asparagus, roasted corn, brussels sprouts, black beans, and homemade coleslaw. Fish Bonz also offers a soup selection consisting of clam chowder, and one of my favorites, lobster bisque. With all these choices, you are sure to find something from our menu you'll love. Try our favorites: unbelievable grilled salmon with succulent garlic lemon butter sauce or our scrumptious shrimp tacos so fresh you would think you're eating right from the docks – all at affordable prices. We only use fresh ingredients daily to ensure impeccable quality and taste to meet our high standards of freshness.

Fish Bonz Torrance combines its design elements to create a very hip and industrial vibe. We use natural wood trim, brushed aluminum and stainless steel accents, a black and stainless palette with 3 spacious outdoor patios enclosed, and enjoyed year-round. Clean lines, simple, and sleek – we want our place to give you an experience that's California casual, comfortable, and relaxing that will keep you coming back for more.
It offers all your favorites along with items that you'd only find at a fine-dining establishments. You can expect dishes such as Lobster Tail, Salmon, Mahi Mahi, Orange Roughy, Swordfish, Ahi Tuna, Swordfish, Pacific Halibut , Succulent Pan Seared Scallops and of course the crowd favorites Fish & Chips, Catfish and Trout.
